Such is human nature, that we can't avoid being influenced by　environment. In short, the root of cheating in examinations and credibilililess on campus is　combinition of many factors.

　　There is no blinding at the fact that, in dealing with a challenge on such scale, some　strong, effective and necessary counter-measures should be put on our agenda. To the begin　with, a widespread education campaign should be launched to make students realize the　importance of credibility. What's more, the government departments at different levels and　related orgnizations should make joint efforts and coordination of programs to creat a more　credit environment for us. Only by this package deal, can build up a harmonious and healthy　sociaty.

　　Ladies and Gentlemen, Good afternoon!

　　I’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech. Today my topic is "youth". I hope you will like it, and found the importance in your youth so that more cherish it.

　　First I want to ask you some questions:

　　1、Do you know what is youth? 2、How do you master your youth?

　　Youth

　　Youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .

　　Youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite, for adventure over the love of ease. This often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . Nobody grows old merely by a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals.

　　Years wrinkle the skin, but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul. Worry, fear, self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust.

　　Whether 60 of 16, there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . In the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station: so long as it receives messages of beauty, hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .

　　When the aerials are down, and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

　　There is no doubt that the arts festival enriches our college life an extracurricular activity. However when it comes to what should be included in the arts festival different people have different views. Some insists on performing arts such as dances and dramas. Still others argue for the work of art like paintings and calligraphy. Personally I agree with the latter and I strongly recommend that photographic works should be counted as an important aspect of the arts festival.

　　毫无疑问，艺术节丰富了我们大学生活中的课外活动。然而，每当说起艺术节该包含什么节目，不同的人有不同的想法。有些人坚持表演艺术，像舞蹈和话剧。有些人辩论说应该也有绘画和书法的作品。个人来说，我同意后者而且我强烈推荐摄影作为艺术节中重要的一部分。

　　My suggestion lies in the following two reasons. On the one hand for he students who take photos the photographic exhibition can stimulate them to discover the beauty that permeates our surroundings. As the saying goes beauty is in the eye of the beholder; such an activity will definitely foster sharp eyes of photographers to-be. On the other hand for the students who appreciate the photos they are given a shortcut to the beauty of the nature and the society. Maybe by this way they find the sense of the life and enjoy the life more in the future.

　　我的建议基于以下两点。从一方面来说，对于拍照的同学，摄影展示能够激发他们去发现我们身边的美。常言道，美在观察者的眼中;像这种活动绝对能够培养未来摄影者的锐利目光。从另一方面来说，对于喜欢照片的同学来说，他们就有了一条通向自然和社会的`美景的捷径了。也许通过这个方式，他们能够找到生活的感觉，未来也会更加享受生活。

　　In short the photographic exhibition can get the students to discover and appreciate beauty. I believe that it is wise to involve the photographic works into the university arts festival.

　　People say, youth is fire which is ignited by passion. People say, youth is achapter of the poem which is written by stories. The color of youth is brightand we make most use of our ardor to draw the scenes to the canvas of we may be confused and lose our direction in the youth time. Under this,youth slips away. Roman Roland says, life doesn’t issue return ticket and cannever come back once sets out. So we should seize the short youth time and tryour best to pursue our ideal. 　　When we refer to ideal, we will realize the importance of ideal. Ideal is thebeacon,. Without ideal, we will lose the firm direction. Without direction, wewill lose our life. According to this, every one of us should establish our ownideal that we have the direction of straggle to the future. Tolstoy tellsus, we should have the life objective from the whole life to the second. So weshould cherish every moment and form our systematic objective. Youth is theprime time. We have strong body and energy and can sense the meaning of lifeunder the guide of ideal.

　　As we know, the ideal is plentiful and reality is skinny. But we shouldbelieve that we will become stronger and stronger in the way to pursue re is unknown,. If we hope our future is nice, we should enrich our youthtime and find the direction of future.
